Transactional Analysis: An Introduction for Counsellors (6 Hours CPD)

Understand the patterns that shape communication, relationships and personal development.

Transactional Analysis (TA) is a well-established psychological theory that offers practical tools for understanding personality, communication and human behaviour. Its accessible concepts can help counsellors gain deeper insight into the dynamics of the therapeutic relationship and support clients in recognising patterns that may influence their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

This interactive CPD workshop provides an introduction to the core principles of Transactional Analysis and explores how TA can complement a range of therapeutic approaches. Through theory, discussion and practical application, participants will develop an understanding of key TA concepts and consider how they can be integrated into everyday counselling practice.

  • Describe the origins and philosophy of Transactional Analysis.
