Professional Adult Counselling

You don’t have to face things alone and please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs and find out whether counselling feels right for you.

When Life Feels Difficult

Life can sometimes feel hard, challenging, overwhelming, or difficult to navigate. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck, counselling can provide private and confidential space to gain deeper understanding and plan the right way forward for you.

I offer trauma-informed counselling for adults, recognising that every person's experiences, strengths, and needs are unique. Together we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a confidential and respectful where i aim for you to feel feel heard, understood, and supported.

How can counselling help?

Counselling is a professional, confidential, private space where everything you share is treated with respect. You are free to talk about anything that’s on your mind. It is a process that can help you work through difficult thoughts, feelings, or behaviours, and support personal change or deeper understanding of self with the aim of supporting you to reach your goals and live the life that you choose too.

I believe developing a trusting relationship where you feel safe enough to express yourself as you may want to share deep and personal life experiences, relationship difficulties, painful emotions and behaviours. We all know just how difficult, painful and bloody hard life can be.

I won’t give you advice but I will work very hard to help you uncover your own answers around whatever is troubling you, holding you back or or keeping you stuck. With the aim enable you to decide how you would like to deal with your situation and make any changes that feel right for you.

How I work

I am trained in an Integrative approach, which means I draw from a range of evidence-based counselling methods, ensuring your therapy is tailored specifically to you.

I will offer you a private and respectful space to talk about what is troubling you and in addition to this you can access creative mediums such as drawing, arts and crafts, music sand and play. This can be helpful if you struggle to express yourself through words alone.

I work with difficulties that are happening in the present day or experiences from your past that are affecting you and impacting how you live your life.

At your first appointment we will discuss what you would like to achieve from counselling and the difficulties that you are experiencing. This will be periodically reviewed to ensure that we are working to your goals and working towards the life that you want to live.

The choice is yours!
