Counselling Testimonials & Client Experiences

Choosing to begin counselling can feel like a significant step, and it is understandable that you may want to know a little about other people’s experiences before deciding whether therapy is right for you.

Words from Those I’ve Had the Privilege of Supporting

I don’t ask clients to leave reviews or testimonials. I believe that feedback about therapeutic work should always be freely offered, without expectation, pressure or obligation.

Occasionally, a client chooses to share feedback about their experience. Where this happens, I may ask whether they would be comfortable with me sharing their words anonymously on my website or social media. There is no expectation that they will agree, and their decision has no impact whatsoever on the counselling they receive.

The testimonials below have therefore been shared with consent and are presented anonymously to respect the privacy and confidentiality of those who have worked with me.

Every person’s experience of counselling is different, and a testimonial cannot tell you what your own therapeutic journey will look like. I hope, however, that these words offer a genuine insight into the importance I place on creating a safe, respectful and compassionate space where people can explore what has brought them to counselling at their own pace.

Client Feedback

Google Reviews

I also have reviews shared by people who have chosen to leave feedback through Google.

As with the testimonials on this page, I do not ask clients to leave reviews or request that they provide feedback. If someone chooses to leave a review, it is entirely their own decision and there is no expectation or obligation to do so.

I’m grateful to those who have taken the time to share their experience. Their words may help someone who is considering counselling to gain a little more insight into what it may be like to work with me.
